One of the assignments we did was make a summary for each slide in our unit one packet. Here is all of these summaries joined together in one large summary.

 

All of the slides prove the that when we understand how people used their unique skills to create new things, we are better able to understand the world around us. The evolution of civilization has been the cause of new technology because its revolutionary and is usually the results of changes to an idea or basic invention. It has gone from being based on technological know-how to scientific knowledge and engineering design. This technological development was made up into four different categories. This consists of social, political, cultural, and economic impact. The history of technology has also been divided, but into nine distinct periods of time instead. One of these eras was the iron age. This was the architectural period marked by the widespread use of iron and steel. This lasted from 700 BC to 450 AD. These slides provided a brief yet a clear description of the 9 eras, ending at the information age. This is the age we are now in, and is the era marked by information sharing, gathering, manipulation, and retrieval. All in all, these slides give a concise description of the history of technology in each era.
